One World Language School of Durham, NH is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to making foreign language learning accessible to children. Growing up bilingual has numerous benefits, including enhanced academic performance, increased cultural awareness and self-confidence, and advanced multitasking skills. Fluency in a second language is also an excellent resume-builder in today’s competitive economy.
Using an engaging and fun approach, One World Language School helps students learn to speak Chinese, French, German, and Spanish. The school also sends kits to students in foreign countries to help them learn English and preserve endangered languages. Language education programs are offered in-school, after school, and in the community at libraries and museums. For educators seeking to implement their own foreign language programs, One World’s training and support system is available, as well.
Proceeds from classes and fundraisers contribute to One World’s scholarship fund and outreach program.
